Transfers become available after the draft is complete. Go to the Transfers page to change your squad. There are 3 types of transfer:
  1. Free agent: No one owns the player. The move is completed immediately, and the player you drop goes to waivers unless your league does not use waivers.
  2. Trade offer: Another team owns the player. The receiving manager must accept the offer before it is completed.
  3. Waiver Requests: See the waivers page for more information.

Trade Offers

A trade must exchange the same number of players on each side, and every player requested must belong to the same other team. Both squads and lineups must still satisfy the league’s size, position, and maximum-per-club rules when the trade is accepted. The proposing manager can cancel a pending offer. The receiving manager can accept or reject it. Because the trade is checked again on acceptance, an offer can become invalid if either squad changes while it is pending. Draft Fantasy does not impose a season-long transfer deadline. A commissioner can disable manager-to-manager trades, but free-agent pickups and waiver claims remain separate. Commissioners can also reverse or force trades when something needs fixing — see Commissioner Tools.

FAAB in trades

In FAAB waiver leagues, FAAB can be included in trades by default, and a commissioner can turn this off. When it is on, either side of a trade can add FAAB to sweeten the deal, so you can trade players plus FAAB, or players for FAAB. Only one side of a trade can include FAAB, and the amount cannot be more than that team’s remaining FAAB budget. When the trade is accepted, the FAAB moves between the teams along with the players. Trades that include FAAB cannot be reversed automatically. If one needs undoing, a commissioner adjusts the FAAB budgets manually.

After a Transfer

For one-for-one moves, Draft Fantasy tries to place the incoming player in the outgoing player’s lineup or bench slot. It may rearrange the lineup and bench as needed to keep a valid formation, so check your lineup and bench order after any move. Your squad for a gameweek is saved at its deadline. Transfers made after that snapshot affect future gameweeks, not the gameweek already underway.
